Billing and Refunds

Last updated: 20 July 2026

1. Scope

This Policy forms part of the MacStayOn Terms of Service. It applies to subscriptions and licences purchased directly through macstayon.com. A reseller or authorised third-party store may apply its own billing and refund process where clearly stated.

2. Annual billing

Personal and Multi-Mac plans are billed for 12 months in advance. The price, currency, device limit, billing interval, and applicable tax are shown before payment. Stripe securely processes payment and provides billing records and payment-method controls.

3. Automatic renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically for another 12 months unless cancelled before the renewal date. By purchasing, you authorise Stripe and Evolve Orbit FZC to charge the payment method for the initial term and later renewals, including applicable taxes. We will provide any price-change or renewal notice required by applicable law.

4. Cancellation

Cancel through the Stripe billing portal linked from your MacStayOn account or contact support@macstayon.com. Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal and leaves the licence active until the end of the paid term. Deleting the app, deactivating a Mac, or not using the Service does not cancel billing.

5. Immediate digital access

MacStayOn provides digital account, licence, and download access after payment confirmation. At checkout, you may be asked to expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that beginning digital supply during a statutory cancellation period can affect or end a withdrawal right. This does not remove rights that applicable law says cannot be waived.

6. Refund position

Except where required by law or stated below, completed subscription payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for unused time, failure to cancel before renewal, device replacement, accidental non-use, or a third-party application failing to continue a task.

7. When we will review a refund

Contact us promptly if there is a duplicate charge, an incorrect plan caused by our checkout, an unauthorised transaction, or a verified defect that prevents installation or activation on a supported Mac and that support cannot resolve within a reasonable time. We will investigate and provide the refund, repair, replacement, price reduction, or other remedy required by applicable law and the circumstances.

8. Payment failure and chargebacks

A failed, reversed, disputed, or charged-back payment may place the subscription and licence into a past-due, suspended, or cancelled state. Contact support before filing a chargeback so we can investigate billing errors. We may provide Stripe and the relevant financial institutions with transaction, consent, account, and licence records reasonably needed to respond to a dispute.

9. Device and plan changes

Replacing or selling a Mac does not normally require a refund. Deactivate the old Mac and activate the replacement using the available device slot. Multi-Mac includes up to three active Macs; unused slots have no separate cash value. Plan changes are available only where shown in the billing portal or agreed by support.

10. How to request help

Email support@macstayon.com from the account address and include the Stripe invoice number, charge date, amount, and a concise explanation. Never send a full card number or card security code. We may verify account ownership before discussing a transaction.

11. Mandatory rights

Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits non-waivable consumer rights, remedies for digital content that is not supplied as agreed, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If this Policy conflicts with a mandatory law applicable to you, that law prevails to the extent of the conflict.
